Donald Edward Grant was born on the island of Jersey on 19 August 1913 and was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Royal Army Pay Corps on 7 December 1940. He was promoted Lieutenant and appointed Paymaster on 7 June 1942, and was promoted Captain on 1 July 1946 and Major on 18 August 1949. He served during the Korean War as Financial Member of the War Office Mission to General MacArthur’s Headquarters from 25 August 1950, and disembarked at Pusan with 73 FBPO on 3 November 1950, and for his services in Korea was Mentioned in Despatches. Promoted Lieutenant-Colonel on 18 July 1955, he was posted as Assistant Deputy Paymaster in Chief, General Headquarters, FARELF, and was promoted Colonel on 1 May 1960, and Brigadier on 31 December 1970. he retired on 18 August 1973, and died in Jersey on 9 January 2005.

Within the UK
If you live within the UK, items will be despatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service provides parcel tracking (via the Royal Mail website) and next weekday delivery (betwen 9am and 1pm). Items delivered within the UK are covered by our insurance company. Heavy and bulky lots will be sent by courier, in discussion with the client.

Outside of the UK
If the item/s being sent are worth under £1000 in total they are sent using Royal Mail’s Signed For International service. This ensures the item must be signed for when it is delivered.
If the item/s being sent are valued at over £1000 in total they will be sent using FedEx. This service allows next day delivery to customers in many parts of the US and parcels are fully trackable using the FedEx website.

Shipping Exceptions
