Gustav William Feurer was born in Liverpool on 9 March 1882, the son of a Swiss national, and attested for the Royal Horse Artillery in 1900. He transferred to the Army Pay Corps in 1911, and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 10 August 1914 as part of the advance party to set up a Field Pay Office for the British Expeditionary Force, one of only 81 officers and men of the Army Pay Department/ Army Pay Corps to qualify for the 1914 Star. Advanced Acting Staff Sergeant Major, for his services during the Great War he was Mentioned in Despatches (London Gazette 1 January 1917) and was awarded an Immediate Meritorious Service Medal. He was awarded his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal per Army Order 47 of 1919, and was discharged on 12 December 1925. He died in Exeter on 30 October 1952.

Within the UK
If you live within the UK, items will be despatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service provides parcel tracking (via the Royal Mail website) and next weekday delivery (betwen 9am and 1pm). Items delivered within the UK are covered by our insurance company. Heavy and bulky lots will be sent by courier, in discussion with the client.

Outside of the UK
If the item/s being sent are worth under £1000 in total they are sent using Royal Mail’s Signed For International service. This ensures the item must be signed for when it is delivered.
If the item/s being sent are valued at over £1000 in total they will be sent using FedEx. This service allows next day delivery to customers in many parts of the US and parcels are fully trackable using the FedEx website.

Shipping Exceptions
