Our postage service will endeavour to deliver all items to the highest bidder within 48hrs of payment being received. All items are sent at the buyers risk.

1. All Invoices over the amount of 500.00 will be required to be settled via bank transfer only.

4.Storage fees apply after 72hrs. Please note any unpaid invoices will be subject to debt recovery process after seven days.

6.Collection is from our secure Kent storage facility, this is by appointment only and is strictly on a first come first serve basis.

BUYERS PREMIUM: The purchaser will pay a buyer's premium of 25% [10% on vehicle sales], which will be charged on all lots. The premium & any Vat if applicable is not negotiable and will be paid by all buyers.

 

 

 VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT) will not be charged on top of the Buyer's Premium

 

Purchasers from overseas should note that the VAT on the Buyer's Premium is not recoverable.

 

 

NO OVERSEAS BIDDERS UNLESS APPROVED  BEFORE BIDDING.-VAT on Goods Destined for Export:

 

• All purchasers intending to export their purchases will be initially charged VAT until satisfactory evidence of export is received by James Auctioneers Ltd (the goods must be exported in accordance with regulations under "Indirect Export"). Where satisfactory evidence is not provided, goods will be subject to UK VAT and no VAT refund will be applicable. We are unable to refund the VAT on the buyer's premium in any circumstances.

BIDDING:

 

All bids can be submitted to the vendor prior to the auction closing and reserves can be lowered to match the bid made, in all circumstances all bidders should be aware that any bid made can be accepted and all other terms applicable to the bidder will be applied in due course.

 

 

 

 

 

PAYMENT TERMS & DEPOSITS:

 

Under no circumstances is paypal a preferred payment method, and all payments are to be made by bank transfer only or registering with our website Jamesauctioneers.co.uk and a secure and valid credit card assigned.

bidder cards may be charged 4 days after an invoice has been sent.

All invoices over the total of £500.00 are to be settled via bank transfer only.

 

 

 

All purchases are to be paid in full, no later than 72 hrs or as instructed by our opening email. from the auction day closure.

 

All overseas bidders will need to pay via bank transfer only, we do not accept credit cards or paypal. if you are unable to pay via this method please do not bid

 

All overseas bidders will need to contact us for a quotation before the end of the auction

 

 

For any lots not settled or a clear instruction has been confirmed with the auctioneer we reserve the right to take either of the following actions:

 

1. For all lots not paid and removed from James Auctioneers trading locations by the above final payment received date as detailed in our opening invoice sent email, a levy of £10 per day per lot will be charged and this will be invoiced to the buyer accordingly.

 2. If James auctioneers ltd have not received contact from any successful highest bidder within the above time frame, we as per terms and conditions of the sales are within our rights to charge the client, the full outstanding balance or amount available on the bidders registered card for lots payable.

 

A  receipt of this will be sent via email. The lot or lots will be sent via recorded post to credit/debit card address on file with the auction platform.

 

A Charge up to 50% non-refundable deposit/charge until either the full balance has been received+ storage fees or as full settlement on unpaid goods.

 

 3. Pass your outstanding debt to a debt collection agency for remuneration of any outstanding invoices and the associated fees attached with this process. We use www.stainternational.com

Collections after auction sale:

 All Items are delivery only. Postage is calculated at the cheapest possible via our account with Interlink and Pallet ways depending on the item, there is no collection permitted on this auction.

 

Only our Postage service is applicable, bidders are not authorised to arrange their own courier/postal service.

Postage only auctions:

 

 For all items sent using a courier service, James Auctioneers Ltd are not to be held responsible for any breakages or items lost whilst in transit. It is the responsibility of the purchaser/bidder that any items damaged or lost in transit James auctioneers Ltd are not held responsible to make any claims against couriers or delivery via pallet.

 

Buyers are advised to seek any additional insurance deemed appropriate beforehand themselves to cover any possible loss.

 

James Auctioneers London will endeavour to package all items as deemed suitable but is not to be held responsible for any items mishandled during transit and no claim due to insignificant packaging will be accepted.

 

Postage costs are not negotiable, any questions regarding multiple lot purchase and combined postage costs need to be sent before bidding.

 

All Items sent via the postage method are sent at the buyer risk.

 

Any additional fees incurred due to incorrect address details given or no body present to receive goods, James Auctioneers reserves the right to re charge the delivery fee on the final invoice.

Dispatch times

 

James Auctioneers London Ltd will endeavour to send all items between 2-5 days after payment has been received, any premium service required i.e.: next day or a service requiring the item to be dispatched sooner, please email us prior to bidding to confirm availability and costs. All enquiries made after the auction closure will be ignored and the normal dispatch times will apply.

Risk:

 

The bidder / buyer is at risk once the buyer is notified of his successful purchases and is strongly advised to effect insurance at once, irrespective of whether title has passed.

Sports Memorabilia items: All items sold with a certificate of authenticity are sold as collectors' items only and is the responsibility of all bidders to view, verify and confirm to the lots own authenticity. James Auctioneers will endeavour to insure that all items sold with a COA and will take precautions to verify the items authenticity to the best of its ability however we do not guarantee 100% unless we have personally organised in person the autographed items. This will be added to any lot description if this is the case.

 

Any items found subsequently not to be authentic, James Auctioneers Ltd are not to be held responsible.

 

CLEARANCE TERMS AND ARRANGEMENTS

 

The premises will be open from 10:00 to 16:00. Please see specific lots descriptions for clearance arrangements.

 

For all lots not removed from James Auctioneers trading locations by the above removal date a £10 per day per lot charge will be applied.

 

PLEASE NOTE: We must remind potential purchasers of the terms and conditions relating to the auction sale and that it is their responsibility to check the suitability or otherwise of lots for the purpose for which they are required. Likewise, parties should satisfy themselves as the functionality and condition of lots. The opportunity to do so is provided on the viewing details as detailed in our terms & conditions and NO allowance or refunds will be made in the event that purchasers subsequently discover that the goods are not suitable for their needs or the functionality/condition is not as expected or anticipated. Potential purchasers who choose not to inspect lots prior to bidding on them do so at their own risk.

REFUNDS: IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL REFUNDS BE CONSIDERED IF THE GOODS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SALE SITE. Any refunds given will only be on items listed as full working order or a new item and would be as a gesture of goodwill rather than acceptance of liability for any faults or defects with lots purchased. We accept no liability for any losses suffered as a consequence of any lots being faulty or defective.

 

RETURNS: under no circumstances are any items to be returned without prior agreement and written confirmation by James auctioneers, any lots returned to us will be rejected.

ALL PURCHASE INVOICES WILL BE RAISED USING THE DETAILS PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF REGISTERING TO BID. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU REGISTER IN THE NAME OF THE PARTY TO WHOM THE INVOICE IS TO BE ADDRESSED. ANY RE-ADDRESSING OR AMENDING OF INVOICES WILL INCUR AN ADMINISTRATION CHARGE OF £15+VAT.

 

Any items that require to be redelivered will the original postage cost along with an admin charge of £25.
